Isa 49:13 If you'll celebrate a marriage anniversary alone this year, [God] speaks to you. If your child made it to heaven before making it to kindergarten, he speaks to you… If your dreams were buried as they lowered the casket, God speaks to you. He speaks to all of us who have stood or will stand in the soft dirt near an open grave. And to us he gives this confident word: "I want you to know what happens to a Christian when he dies so that when it happens, you will not be full of sorrow, as those are who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and then came back to life again, we can also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him all the Christians who have died" (1Th 4:13-14 TLB). When Christ Comes (Max Lucado) John 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and look at My hands. Put your hand into the wound in My side. Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!" - We cannot afford to waste time doubting. - We should stop doubting and start believing. - Doubt robs us of our strength and confidence. - You can have complete confidence in God and His word. PRAYER: Lord, forgive me for sometimes allowing doubt to creep into my heart and mind. I will not be faithless but I will be faithful to believe and have confidence in You. Amen. Psalm 73:28 'I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge.' - We should live life with an underlying trust in God. - He should remain your refuge in the midst of all you may be facing. - Is the Sovereign Lord your refuge? - Then He will be your shelter and you have a rock to stand on. PRAYER: Lord, I declare that You are my refuge. I will look to You for all I need and I will be confident in You. Amen Is jy besig om van koers af te dryf? Comments are closed.
