Passage: Ps [13:5-6] - I trust your love, and I feel like celebrating because you have rescued me. You have been good to me Lord and I will sing about you.
Point: The Lord is good to us all the time!! Practice: When our hearts trust in the love of God we can sing to the Lord. The Lord has rescued us, let us not be shackled and burdened by our situation and circumstances. Let us be mindful of God’s unfailing love and let our hearts rejoice in the salvation of God for He is good to us. Let us put our trust in the unfailing love of God! Let our hearts sing in appreciation of God’s salvation for our souls. God has been Good to us! Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for your unfailing love and for rescuing our souls. We enter your courts with thanksgiving this morning O Lord. We thank you for each and everything you carried us through in this life. We only have you in heaven and we bless your holy name. Thank you for your word that is eternal in heaven and that still changes lives today. We stand on your word O Lord today and trust in you. Lead us in the path of righteousness O Lord. We glorify your holy name; we exalt you this morning; name above all name only you are worthy of all the praise. - in Jesus name – Amen Johnny is a very wise and funny young boy and a good listener too.
One day his teacher gave a class test like this: a) 7+5= b) 19-8= c) 8+8= And Johnny wrote his answers: a) 7+5= Jesus b) 19-8= Jesus c) 8+8= Jesus After marking the test, the teacher quite amused called Johnny and said: 'Can you please explain to the class how you got your answers' Johnny stood up, smiled and said: 'That's very simple. 1 Corinthians 5:8 ‘Let us celebrate our Passover, then, not with bread having the old yeast of sin and wickedness, but with the bread that has no yeast, the bread of purity and truth’. Let’s celebrate our God in purity. Cleanliness is what he wants of us. Let us long for holiness. |
