The bible says that those who walk in wisdom will be successful and live long lives. they will be happy and be blessed.See Proverbs 3:1-18 but there is no such a thing as wisdom without worship.Psalm111:10 says that reverence for God and Worship are the beginning of wisdom or in other words the foundation of a fruitful life
In Lamentations 3:19-20 we read of someone who has his mind on all his problems and whose soul is bowed down in sorrow. However he declares in verse 21 but this I recall and therefore have I hope and expectation in verse 22-24 he change his mind set and think on Gods goodness, mercy, faithfulness etc and this brought him out of his depressed state of mind he was in. When we think on our problems all the time we sink lower but thoughts on God and His goodness gives hope.
Truth is one of the most powerful weapons a believer has against the kingdom of darkness. Truth brings light and the bible says that darkness has never overpowered the light and it never will. John1:5 Jesus said that the truth will set us free John8:32 therefore the truth of His Word will bring the light in our darkness.
To have God on our side does not mean sailing on a boat with no storms it means sailing in a boat that no storm can sink! Our Savior walks on water if we fall out of the boat He will be there to lend a helping hand. Mark 4:39 tells us that we can not rebuke the storm in our lives if we have a storm of fear and unbelief in our hearts. Jesus could tap into His reservoir of peace and faith and calmed the storm. Trust Jesus to calm your inner storm and you will be able to have peace and faith to calm the storm of your circumstances around you.
One day I was crossing a shaky bride with God. I was so scared so I asked God : Can I hold your hand so that I will not fall in the river? God said No child I should hold your hand. I asked what is the difference Lord? God replied if you hold my hand and something happens you might let go. If I hold your hand no matter what happens I will never let you go…. Isa41:10.
Malachi 2:16 says keep a watch upon your spirit [that it may be controlled by God's Spirit] We cannot expect anything to go well for us if we do not allow Gods Spirit to control us. But if we will listern to God and be diligent to obey our lives and marriages can be wonderful.
As you willingly offer Jesus what you have. He will bless and multiply it to meet t he need of others. Mark 6:30-44. What may seem to you like a small contribution of time or talent can become an enormous blessing when you put it in Gods Hands. Be available and willing He wants to use you.
If we seek God only when we are desterate then He will keep us in desperate circumstances because He desperately desires to fellowship with us. Eccles8:12 says that if we want to stay in a constant victory we must seek Him at all times and desire to experience His continual presence.
Do not trust the arm of flesh, but trust in the Lord 2 Chronicels 32:7-8 That is the attetude we need to have, rather than looking into past failures or our present fallacies or our future fears. We need to be looking to the Lord and trust in His wisdom streangth and power. He is greater than our problems.
Your future is not determined by your past or present situation. With God all things is possible Luke 18:27. Humanly things may be impossible but we serve a God that created everything from nothing Heb 11:3 Give Him your nothingness and watch Him do the work. Just believe He is willing and able. Trust Him.
