We can learn a lot from Samson’s story (Judges 13:24). Samson had extra ordinary strength from God, and his might and ability were directly linked to obedience. God told him not to cut his hair and promised that as long as he obeyed God, he would have special strength and be able to do awesome feats. Satan wanted to weaken and destroy Samson, so he sent temptation in the form of a woman named Delilah. Day after day she pressed him to reveal his secret. Eventually Samson was vexed, the Bible tells us, so he finally gave in and told Delilah his secret (Judges 1:15. While he slept, she cut his hair and robbed him of his strength
When Satan comes to tempt us, he is persistent. Samson had a weakness with woman, so Satan used it against him. We also have weaknesses, if we are not alert, Satan can use them against us.
