Proverbs 11:27
'If you search for good, you will find favour; but if you search for evil, it will find you!' - Ultimately we will find what we search for. - If you search for more of God, you will find Him. - If you hunger and thirst for more of Him, He will come to you. - Therefore let us stay away from evil and pursue that which is good. PRAYER: Lord, help me to be able to make the right choices. I choose You Lord, above all else. Deliver me from evil and stir within my heart a longing and desire for more of You. Amen. I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace
day or night, you who [are His servants and by your prayers] pull the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence. ISAIAH 62:6 REMIND HIM !! 10 .. For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. 11 .. So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void ]without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it .. Isaiah 55 : 10 – 11 When you go to God in prayer, the most powerful thing that you can do is to pray His mighty Word back to Him, to remind Him of the promises He has made you !! Now while that may sound a little silly .. After All .. God is the author of His Word, why on earth would it be necessary to remind Him of what He clearly knows He said. Well, silly sounding or not, you have been instructed to do so .. You who are His servant, by your prayers put the Lord in remembrance of His promises, do not keep silent !! .. Isaiah 62 : 6 There is one thing that God holds in higher esteem and more valuable than all else .. It Is His Word !! It is through His Word that God lovingly communicates with you .. And .. It is a trustworthy way in which you can hear the sound of His sweet, soothing voice. I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your Word and You have magnified Your Word above all Your name ! .. Psalm 138 : 2 God Magnifies His Word Above His Name !! If God regards His Word with as much value as He does .. Then .. The truth is that perhaps it is time for you to begin to cherish it in the same way. If God honors His Word to the extent of elevating and magnifying it even above His name .. The best and most blessed commitment you can make yourself, is to make it an absolute priority to .. Know The Word .. Study The Word .. Love The Word .. Get The Word Deeply Rooted In Your Heart .. Regard And Respect The Word More Highly Than Anything Else .. And .. Incorporate The Word Of God Into Your Prayer Life !! If you will choose to honor God’s Word and You honestly commit yourself to it .. The result will be that you abide in His Word !! If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you .. John 15 : 7 You abiding in The Word and allowing The Word to abide in and take root deep in your heart is directly related to your level of confidence as you pray. By praying The Word and calling God into remembrance of His promises He has made you, you will find yourself far less likely to pray for things that are not in line with God’s will for you .. As Well As This .. By praying The Word you will be more faith-filled and confident in knowing that your prayers will be answered !! 1 .. IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. 2 .. He was present originally with God. 3 .. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. 4 .. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men .. John 1 : 1 – 4 And Once Again .. It Is All About Jesus !! Jesus Christ Is The Living Word !! .. As you abide in The Word, you abide in Him .. And .. That will release unspeakable power into your prayers !! Using God’s Own Words To Pray God Sized Prayers Will Yield God Sized Results !! THE POWER OF BIBLICAL SUBMISSION IS BLESSED BY GOD AND FEARED BY satan Jesus gives the invitation in Revelation 3:20, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.”
To know God is to receive his invitation. Not just to hear it, not just to study it, not just to acknowledge it, but to receive it. It’s possible to learn much about God’s invitation and never respond to it personally. His invitation is clear and non-negotiable. He gives all and we give him all. Simple and absolute. Isn’t it incredible that God leaves this choice up to us? Think about it. We can’t choose the weather. We can’t control the economy. We can’t even choose how people respond to us. But we can choose where we spend eternity. The big choice, God leaves to us. The critical decision is ours. What are you doing with his personal request that you live with him forever? And the Angels Were Silent John 10:10 I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
abundantly. When you are not enjoying abundant life, you will feel as if life is full of toil. In your heart, life is meaningless and empty. You feel like someone “grasping for the wind”. (Ecclesiastes 2:11) It seems as if nothing you do adds up to much. The Bible calls this life “under the sun”. (Ecclesiastes 2:11) Someone who lives life under the sun may or may not know God, but God is either forgotten or not the center of things in his life. His thoughts are earthly and he does things to gratify his flesh. In the end, he finds life depressing and unfulfilled. Life under the sun is full of despair. But this is not so with someone who lives life above the sun with God. For life with Him is filled with joy and pleasures at His right hand. (Psalm 16:11) Life is abundantly full and good just as Jesus promised—“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. When you live life above the sun, your thoughts are heavenward and you become Christ-occupied. You live for Him because you know that all things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16) When you live for His glory, your life takes on a new meaning and purpose. God’s Word says, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:17) The Greek word for “consist” means “held together”. In Christ, all things are held together. And that is why when Christ is the central figure in your life, you will have it all together. Your mind will be held together. Your hopes and dreams will be held together. Your family will be held together by the cords of His love. Your life will not be empty, but full of God’s goodness because “Christ in you, [is] the hope of glory”. (Colossians 1:27) It is a wonderful life—this life lived above the sun. And you will have an even more wonderful life to come in heaven!
Hoe kry ek Sy lig angeskakel in my donker lewe? Soos 'n helder verligte aanloopbaan, sal jou pad uitgestippel wees. Gebed. Baie dankie Vader, in U lig sien ek die lig. Verlig my hele lewe, sodat ek weer 'n lig vir andere kan wees, in Jesus naam.Amen The Son does whatever the Father does. John 5:19
The crowning attribute of Christ was this: his heart was spiritual. His thoughts reflected his intimate relationship with the Father. "I am in the Father and the Father is in me," he stated (John 14:11)… Jesus took his instructions from God. It was his habit to go to worship (Luke 4:16). It was his practice to memorize Scripture (Luke 4:4). Luke says Jesus "often slipped away to be alone so he could pray" (Luke 5:16). His times of prayer guided him. He once returned from prayer and announced it was time to move to another city (Mark 1:38). Another time of prayer resulted in the selection of the disciples (Luke 6:12-13). Jesus was led by an unseen hand… The heart of Jesus was spiritual. Just Like Jesus (Max Lucado) No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1 Corinthians 10:13
You can't avoid it, no matter how hard you try. Television commercials, newspaper articles, billboards on the road, window displays in the mall, even magazines in the supermarket checkout line— we are assaulted constantly with sexual images everywhere we turn. These media and cultural assaults are like throwing petrol on the fire. It makes it even more challenging to live a life that is pleasing to God. But even though these things add petrol to the fire, realize that the "fire" is already there. Even if we lived alone on a desert island, we're still going to struggle with the lusts of the flesh. We're still going to struggle with our thought life. We're always going to struggle with attitudes and drives that are displeasing to God! We can't stop being tempted, and temptation is not sin. Jesus was tempted in every way we are. But don't flirt with it. Show real courage and run from it. Ask the Lord to help you turn your thoughts over to Him, and you will be able to have the power to resist temptation. “If anyone has this world’s goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him? Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth...” (1 John 3:17–18, AMP)
I’ve heard it said that you can give without loving, but you can’t love without giving. Notice this verse tells us that love isn’t just about our words or thoughts; it’s about our actions. Love is about reaching out and meeting the needs of others. Sometimes meeting someone’s needs is as simple as a smile or sharing a word of encouragement. There are many ways to show the love of God. Can you pay for someone’s gas or groceries? Do you see a need in someone’s life that you can meet? Remember, you are the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth. The Lord wants to bless you today so that you can be a blessing to others. He wants to work through you to show His love and compassion. Today and every day, look for ways to put your love into action. The Bible says that it’s His kindness that leads people to repentance. He wants to show His kindness in the earth through you. Step out and sow good seeds of love by meeting the needs of others. God promises that those seeds will produce an abundant harvest in your life in return! Heavenly Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing in my life. Thank You for choosing to work through me today. I submit myself and my resources to You. Show me ways to be a blessing to others so that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen. — Joel & Victoria Osteen Psalm 91:1–2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will
trust.” Every day, we are bombarded with news of conflicts, natural disasters, diseases and new strains of drug-resistant viruses. We also hear of people losing their loved ones in freak accidents. And we ask ourselves, “Is there a place where I can take refuge from a world gone mad?” Yes, there is! God foresaw all these things and He has promised in His Word protection from every evil known to man. There is no trap set by the devil that our Father cannot deliver us from, if we trust in Him and take Him as our refuge. That is His promise in Psalm 91. Whether it is an earthquake at midnight, a crazy sniper, an unknown virus or a terrorist attack, God says, “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” (Psalm 91:5–6) Because you have made Him your dwelling place, angels are watching over you right now. (Psalm 91:9–11) They give heed to the voice of God’s Word, so you should give voice to God’s Word. This means that you should agree with and speak what God’s Word says about His preserving and protecting you. Then, angels are sent to minister for you. (Hebrews 1:14) My friend, don’t say, “If it can happen to them, it can also happen to me!” Say, “A thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand, but it will not come near me!” (Psalm 91:7) The world says that you cannot but expect danger all around. God says, “You are in this world but not of this world. You have My protection because you are of Me and in Me.” (John 17:14–23) You have access by faith into the secret place of the Most High where no evil can touch you. There is no need to fear living in the end times because the Lord is your refuge and fortress. His Word says so. And those who trust His Word completely find His Word completely true! "Julle moet soos julle hemelse VADER wees.
