Please  take a moment to relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ.
Allow God, to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer.
If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give  the same respect to this prayer. Friends that pray together, stay  together. 

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my  being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God  and  an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on  blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that  was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. 
Please  keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new  attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of  each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. 
Please broaden  my mind that I can accept all things.  Let me not whine and whimper over
things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's  eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when  I  sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and 
receive  the forgiveness of God. 
And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's  the best response when  I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I
can't pray, You listen to my  heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. 
Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong  that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of  encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for  those that are misjudged and misunderstood. 
I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that  don't believe. But I thank you that  I can believe. 
I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I  pray for all  my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their  households.
I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt  and all their needs are met. 
I pray that  every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,  circumstance, or  situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your  hands  for  You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of  every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. 
This  is my prayer.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we are constantly learning about what it means to
be reasonable people. We want to understand more of life, reason out the things
that seem somewhat over the top, and hand our thoughts over to You. Sometimes,
Lord, we spend so much time thinking and looking for reasonable answers that we
forget to simply trust that You have all things in Your hand and we don't really
have to bother about all the details. Help us to appreciate the fact that we
don't always have to know the "why" of something even when it doesn't seem
reasonable. 

Father, our world today often seems scary and out of control. It
feels like we are caught up in national insanity and everything is flip-flopped
and overbaked and sour smelling, but we don't know what to do about it. We don't
know how to get it back to feeling reasonable again

 We know that You have already gone ahead of us and that You know
all the outcomes and will walk with us as we go onward. We believe, Lord, that
the most reasonable thing we can do is follow You. Help us to embrace Your ways
and live with a heart of joy. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. 

Read Isaiah 1:18 .

Heavenly Father, we are often fooled into thinking that being
"remarkable" has something to do with recognition for a talent or a skill. We
think that it might be attached to those who we see on the big screen or those
who enter into politics. Help us to see that we are defined by the remarkable
things we do for You. 

We are Your children and we are remarkable each time we lift up
someone in need who walks beside us. We are remarkable each time we share Your
love with someone who was just waiting for us to open that door. 

Remind us, Lord, as we work through our endless chores that the
duties that occupy our time at home or at work or anywhere else can become
heavenly ones if we do them for You. We might just discover that what we have
done is simply remarkable because it is stamped with Your love and approval.
Bless each of us as we step out in the wisdom of love and genuine kindness to
create a brighter day for someone else. Help us to live for You today. In Jesus'
name we pray. Amen.

 Opgestane en lewende Christus, dit moes al somer gewees het in my geestelike lewe.
 U het aan my lentelewe geskenk en ek loof u Naam daarvoor.
 Ek kom pleit nou om groei tot geestelike volwasse wording.
 Ek bely met skaamte dat ek dilwels so ongehoorsaam is:
 Dat ek so geheg is aan wêreldse genot en so min belang stel in geestelike dinge;
 So traag is om my siel te voed met u Woord;
 so onverskillig is oor die vreugde wat U wil gee;
 So onwillig om met toewyding vir U te werk en getuig;
 So haastig om te ontspan en so traag om te bid
 So gou om myself te behaag en so traag om ander te dien.
  
 Liefdevolle en genadige Meester, Ek ontvang so graag en gee so min. Ek is so vroom in my woorde. En so gebrekkig in dade so onverbiddelik teenoor my naaste en so toegeeflik teenoor myself  So gou om te kritiseer en so gekrenk as ander met my fout vind.
Geen wonder nie, Heer, dat die somer nie in my geestelike lewe wil deurbreek nie.
Genadige heiland. Skenk my nogeens u vergifnis: gee my krag om voortaan op oorwinningsgrond  te lewe; om in die wingerdstok te bly sodat ek soete somervrugte kan dra. Gee dat ek die somerpad van geloof en heiligmaking sal bewandel sodat ek meer aan my hemelse voorbeeld gelyk sal word.

Ek bid dit op grond van u soenverdienste, In die naam van my verlosser Here Jesus Christus. Amen
