“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2
We often associate Christianity with poverty, wanting to be prosperous is not an ungodly thing in fact God wants us to prosper and be healthy physically and spiritually.
Solomon said money answers all things the only problem is when we become greedy and when we allow money to drive us away from God. Christianity involves giving and you cannot give what you do not have!
Have a fantastic weekend. Regards, Lindi.
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.” Ephesians 4:1
When you occupy a position of a Manager, Pastor, Counselor, etc there is a conduct you must adapt to; the same applies when you are a born-again Christian (meaning Christ-like).
Verse 2 of Ephesians 4 says we should walk in lowliness & meekness, whatever position you find yourself in today God requires us to be humble, tender, submissive and considerate.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Ps 119:105
What directs you in life? When you get to a crossroad you look at the traffic light for direction; the same principle applies when you are about to make decisions let the word of God be your guide.
How do you know you have made the right decision? His peace will be evident in your heart.
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” James 1:2
Christianity is not a bed of roses, Paul said those who want to live a godly live shall suffer persecution. Do not worry when you are going through difficult times because God said
In the book of Isaiah that when you walk through the fire you will not be burnt and when you walk through the sea you will not drawn for the Lord is with through it all. Why are being tested?
So that we can have the character of Christ in us, so that we can be like Jesus because He was also tested and so that we can be the gold that was tried and tested!
