A king who did not believe in the goodness of God, had a slave who, in all
circumstances, said: My king, do not be discouraged, because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes! One day they went hunting and along the way a wild animal attacked the king. His slave managed to kill the animal, but could not prevent his majesty losing a finger. Furious and without showing his gratitude for being saved, the nobleman said "Is God good? If He was good, I would not have been attacked and lost my finger." The slave replied: "My king, despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good, and he knows "why" of all these things happen. What God does is perfect. He is never wrong!" Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his slave. Later, he left for another hunt and was captured by savages who made human sacrifices. In the altar, ready to sacrifice the nobleman, the savages found that the victim had not one of his fingers, so he was released. According to them, it was not so complete to be offered to the gods. Upon his return to the palace, he authorized the release of his slave that he received very affectionately. "My dear, God was really good to me! I was almost killed by the wild men, but for lack of a single finger, I was let go! But I have a question: if God is so good, why did he allow me to put you in jail?" "My King, if I had gone with you in this hunt, I would have been sacrificed for you, because I have no missing finger, therefore, remember everything God does is perfect. He is never wrong." Often we complain about life, and negative things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is random and that everything has a purpose. Every morning, offer your day to God, don't be in a rush. Ask God to inspire your thoughts, guide your actions, and ease your feelings. And do not be afraid. God is never wrong! You know why this message is for you? I do not know, but God knows, because he never makes mistakes....... “As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him”. as he says in 2 Samuel 22: 31 What you do with this message is up to you. May God put in your heart the desire to send it to someone. God knows why He chose you to receive this message. Please bless someone with it. God is never wrong and He is never late. “Leaders must be close enough to relate to others, but far enough ahead to motivate them.”
The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you -
depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring. Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life: ============================================================== 1. God uses problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways." Proverbs 20:30 2. God uses problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags... if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? "When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3 3. God uses problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something...health, money, a relationship... by losing it. "It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws." Psalm 119:71-72 4. God uses problems to PROTECT you. A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem - but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good"... Genesis 50:20 5. God uses problems to PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity. "We can rejoice when we run into problems... they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4 ** Here's the point: God is at work in your life - even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him. "Success can be measured not only in achievements, but in lessons learned, lives touched and moments shared along the way." Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain Continue in thanksgiving Do not begin to blame Even when the times are hard Fierce winds are bound to blow God is forever able Hold on to what you know Imagine life without His love Joy would cease to be Keep thanking Him for all the things Love imparts to thee Move out of "Camp Complaining" No weapon that is known On earth can yield the power Praise can do alone Quit looking at the future Redeem the time at hand Start every day with worship To "thank" is a command Until we see Him coming Victorious in the sky We'll run the race with gratitude Xalting God most high Yes, therell be good times & yes some will be bad, but... Zion waits in glory...where none are ever sad! "I AM Too blessed to be stressed!" Hi, This is St. Peter's Place, may I help you?
Yes, I am in a big hurry, I have some place to go. I will take an instant healing, and 3 blessings please. The next customer comes through, saying: I need for my marriage to be healed, I don't have time to work on it, or pray, so could you just give me the marriage blessing, and fix it please? The next customer is equally unaware when saying: I need the blessing my neighbor has, could you help me win the lottery? I am going on vacation next week and could use the extra money. People lining up with the greatest intentions, the least faith, and almost no relationship with God, yet expecting instant gratification when they pray. Suddenly God is the "fix it" man. We do not have to do anything on our part, it is all His job. While I was watching a famous newscaster tonight, He was talking about his concept of God. A God who would forgive everyone, because He was merciful. A God who never got angry, who never judged, but only loved people. A God who never did a trial after we die, but fulfills nebulous needs while we are alive. A God we don't need to have a dedicated or holy, righteous relationship with. A God of convenience. A God of people's own making to suit whatever lifestyle they choose to live. This is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This is what the world is saying nowadays. Oh I will take the God that never judges, so I can sleep with everyone in town, or smoke and drink or do drugs, but God will still love me. I will never have to confess or change, because God is merciful. A drive through God. Where do people come up with this stuff? My friends, this is why we have a Bible. 1. It tells us who God is. 2. It tells us what He expects from us. 3. It tells what happens to those who disobey. 4. It tells how to find salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible says Jesus is the truth, the life, and the way, there is no other way to God, except through redemption in Jesus Christ. This means we have to be proactive. We have to: 1. Recognize we are a sinner in need of salvation. 2. Recognize Jesus died for those sins, and to receive His salvation we must take certain steps. 3. Confess our sins to God, every one we can remember, then we make a public confession of that faith. 4. When we repent of our sins, it means we leave them behind, we walk away from them, we get into the word, and live as Jesus taught. We make a conscious effort to change, and ask God to help us change the things we cannot, so we can be right before Him. Forgiven, renewed by the blood of the Lamb of God. There is no other way! We cannot pick and choose the parts of the Bible we like or don't like or agree with or don't agree with. We cannot tell God who to be, or what His laws and concepts should be. It is like this. We must accept Him for who He is, we must live righteously before Him, by accepting His son, and repenting of our sins, and then walking right by reading His word, praying and living a holy life. Anything else, is straying from the truth. You can make up all the thoughts about God you want, the newscaster can justify his lifestyle by being in denial about God, the person who has strong addictions will deny God to justify his sin. The person steeped in sexual sin or perversion will try to justify a kind, all loving God, to leave out any part of the scripture that might convict them of sins. Sin is a reality. God is not only a merciful God, but a God of judgment. The drive through thing won't work. If you want a relationship with God, there is one way. The right way, through Jesus Christ. Any other way leads to eternal death. Now that you have been told, there is no excuse. Pass this to others, so they may know that there is no excuse that will stand before God's all knowing judgment and wisdom. He sees all, knows all, knows every where you have been, every thought you have had, every deed you have done. Everything that is done in darkness will be bought into light. Where you will stand in that light? There is only one way. You either choose life or death by your decisions. Be Completely humble and gentle be patient bearing with one another- Ephesians 4:2
Love works. It is lifes most powerful motivator and has far greater depth and meaning than most people realize. It always does what is best for others and can empower us to face the greatest of problems. We are born with a lifelong thirst for love. our hearts desperately need it like our lungs need oxygen. Love changes our motivation for living. Relationships become meaningful with it. No marriage is succesful without it. Love is built on two pillars thatbest define what it is.Those pillars are patience and kindness. All other characteristics of love are extentions of these two attributes. Often we stand at life's crossroads and view what we think is the end. but God has a much bigger vision & tells us relax my child . Its just a bend it is not the end
Deuteronomy 28:6
Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. In the Jewish community, the promise, “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out”, refers to being blessed in the affairs of one’s daily life, whether in or outside one’s home. So here, God is saying that you are blessed in your everyday life. Do you believe it? Do you believe that every day, your family and work life are blessed? Or do you think that you are blessed only during Christmas when you receive your gifts and year-end bonus, or when you get that promotion you have been wanting? Perhaps you think that the blessed life only begins when you meet the man or woman of your dreams! No, my friend, you are blessed every day and you have God’s Word for it. Psalm 68:19 says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!” And because God’s Word says so, believe that every day of your life is loaded with benefits. Every morning, when you get up, believe that it is a day that the Lord has made, and rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) Start the day expecting it to be loaded with the benefits that God has prepared just for you. At night, when it is time to sleep, know that you will be blessed when you get up in the morning because there will be another load of benefits from your heavenly Father, who so loves you unconditionally, waiting for you! You can’t make your blessings happen. But if you will just believe what God has said in His Word and act like it is so, the blessings will manifest in your life. In fact, God wants to bless you more than you want to be blessed! His Word declares it: “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out… Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!” Beloved, believe God’s Word. Believe Him for the blessings and you will find yourself loaded with His daily benefits! "Life is not about the people who act true to your face. It is about the people who remain true behind your back."
Ephesians 3:20 - 'Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,' The Word of God tells us that the anointing is not an outward manifestation of power, but it's an inward working of power that teaches us, leads us and guides us in all truth. 1John 2:27 So, this power that works in us is to make us into what we are to be in Christ. But now, let's see how this power works to get us to the place where we should be. Many times, we as believers give the devil too much credit. We talk about how he is doing this or that and how powerful he is. But we miss the real power sometimes focusing on the false power. The real power is the power of the resurrection of Christ Jesus! And the Word says that power is operating in us! You see, the power of the anointing in the Old Testament was the power to bless someone through an outward act of pouring oil upon a priest or king. This anointing was to symbolize the consecration and sanctification for God to use this person for his glory. And his spirit would use them to do great and powerful things. Like Moses, David, Samson, and others, the power of God would take their efforts and use them for greatness. That was good and all, but then Jesus came and was resurrected from the dead. This changed a lot! Now the Spirit of God can dwell within us. But that's not just so we can get to heaven when we die. But it's so God's Kingdom can be here now! The truth of the matter is, since you are now anointed from within and the power of Jesus resurrection is now operating within you, you have the power of God! You have the power to speak things into existence, you have the power to heal, deliver, and set free, you have the power to cast out devils and raise the dead. You have his power! So, the Spirit of God doesn't have to come upon you and work from the outside in, but now his Spirit can dwell within you and operate from the inside out! That changes everything. That brings a relationship into the picture. Now you can commune with God through his Spirit that is within you. Now you can become what he wants of you because of the Spirit that is within you. Now you can "abide" in him and He in you, because the anointing of God dwells within you, leading and guiding you into all truth! And what does the truth do? The Word says it makes you free! For example, if you are anointed of God to preach the Gospel, then you are lead by God, to preach the Gospel! And the word says that as many that are "lead" by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. And if you are a son of God, then you have and are entitled to the inheritance of God. I could go on and on, but I hope you are getting this picture. The anointing of God is not an emotion, feeling, or outward work. It's all on the inside! But as it's working in us, leading us, teaching us, and guiding us, we are becoming what he wants of us. Suggested Reading: Phil. 3:10, Rom. 8:14, 1John 3:2, 1John 2:27 |
