While the church appoints, God anoints! God may not bless church appointments. To avoid disappointment, the appointed must be anointed. When the apostles wanted to choose people who would do practical work in the church, they chose those who were 'known to be full of the Spirit' (Acts
6:2-3). For leaders, who do much more than practical jobs in church, being full of the Spirit is the top qualification. God never calls without anointing. Nothing can take its place. Education, enthusiasm, talent and energy are very important, but without God's anointing, they mean nothing in the Kingdom of God. God bless you. REINHARD BONNKE You will be my witnesses—in Jerusalem, in all of Judea, in Samaria, and in every part of the world. Act 1:8
We are witnesses. And like witnesses in a court, we are called to testify, to tell what we have seen and heard. And we are to speak truthfully. Our task is not to whitewash nor bloat the truth. Our task is to tell the truth. Period. There is, however, one difference between the witness in court and the witness for Christ. The witness in court eventually steps down from the witness chair, but the witness for Christ never does. Since the claims of Christ are always on trial, court is perpetually in session, and we remain under oath. Just Like Jesus (by: Max Lucado) Whatever Our hand finds to do, do it with ALL Our Might! (Ecc 9:10) We are Never to be Lacking in Zeal, but we are to Keep Our Spiritual Fervour Serving Our Lord (Rom 12:11) Our Lord Expects us, His children to be WHOLE-HEARTED WILLING Workers for His Kingdsom who are filled with an Impassioned Desire to Please and Serve Him! In fact, what did Jesus say about half-hearted, lukewarm, indifferent Christians in the book of Revelation 3:15-19? Our Lord Wants and Needs On-Fire, Passionate, Excited, Committed Disciples who Love Him More than Anything or Anyone else on This Earth! Determined Disciples who Follow Jesus All The Way because they know they have Found The TRUTH and Walk in Truth.
There are some of you whom have possibly lost some of your fire because of getting whittled down from others constantly trying to spit out of your fire because of their own personal issues, political correctness, or making them look into their personal mirrors of "safety net"" and you have found yourselves in the robotic rut of mundane. Say's in the word to Daily stir yourselves Up! But it really is important to be around those that are on-fire, go-getters, or else you might turn into a spiritual zombie. We Each Personally Have To Resolve and Purpose in Our Hearts that No Matter What, We Will Be An Uncommon Follower and Disciple of Our Lord Jesus Christ! amen Ons loop elke dag geleenthede mis om goed te wees vir mense net sodat ons 'n paar sekondes kan spaar. (Rut 1:16 - 17 DB).
Sielekos: Rom 3:21 - 6:23; Joh 10:1-10; Ps 133; Spr 29:15-18 It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.
