1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is He who is calling you and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by keeping you]. - God always remains faithful. - He is faithful and utterly trustworthy. - God will fulfill His plans and purposes for you. PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your purposes and plans for my life. You are the One who does these things and I will trust You every step of the way. Amen. For she kept saying, if I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health. Mark 5:28 Your words have creative power. Whatever words that come out of your mouth, good or bad, have the power to bring things to pass. The scripture says, you shall eat the fruits of your words. That means you will get whatever you say! You got to send your words out, in the direction you want your life to go. If you want to know what or where you’ll be in 5 or 10 years from now, just listen to you are saying about yourself. You cant speak failure and have victory. You cant speak sickness and have healing. You can either bless or curse your future, with your words. No matter how unworthy you can feel about yourself, don’t make a mistake of speaking negative about yourself. Don’t speak defeat over your life, instead speak favor over your future. In case you don’t know; You’re royalty, blessed, highly favored, prosperous, etc. Negative thoughts will come, but just don’t verbalize them. You don’t have to say what you feel, but rather say what God says about you! You might be going through a so called difficult situation right now! Don’t use your words to describe that situation, rather use your words to change it. What are you saying about your children? What are you saying about your Job? What are you saying about your wife/husband? What are you saying about your boss? What are you saying about your finances? Remember, your words will go in the direction you send them. Speak healing in the midst of sickness. Speak peace in the midst of challenges. Don’t just think about it, or imagine it; but speak it out because your words have creative power. When one door closes, God will open another door. As you wake up every morning, speak favor in your life, favor in your finances, peace in your marriage, favor of promotion at your work place, favor at school, wisdom over your children, favor to meet your life partner, healing over your body. Remember, the scripture says let the weak say I am strong. It doesn’t say let the weak talk about their weakness. In other words, don’t talk about the way you are, but rather talk about the way you want to be. In life, you already have a lot of things working against you. Be it people, criticisms, negative thoughts, your colleagues, your boss. The last thing you need is for you to be against yourself. When you speak negative words against yourself, you’re sending out a force to fight against you. Don’t ever say I wont get married, I wont get out of debts, I wont find a job, I wont be healed; instead talk about where you want to be! Start each day by blessing yourself. Declare this words to yourself everyday: I am beautiful/handsome; I am creative, I am a masterpiece, I am blessed, I am successful, I am prosperous, I am talented, I am confident, I am secure, I am disciplined, I am highly favored, I am a child of the most high God, I am healthy. Whatever you’re constantly saying; you’re moving towards it! You can save your marriage by your words. You can get your healing by your words. You can get out of debts through your words. Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue God is waiting on you to speak what He says about you, and it wont be long until you see changes. Enjoy a fresh new beginning today, have a very Blessed week end and continue to be a Prisoner of Hope We shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians. 4:17-18 I love the words always and never. They hold so much hope! I would like to think that I could always be happy and that life would never fail me. But reality says that I won’t always be happy and that the things I hope would never happen just might. So, as good as these words sound, they struggle to live up to their potential—unless you are thinking about the promise of Jesus’ presence. To a group of troubled disciples who feared facing life on their own Jesus said, “I am with you always” (Matt. 28:20). The writer to the Hebrews reminds us that Jesus said, “‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear’” (Heb. 13:5-6). And the apostle Paul assures believers that after death, “We shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thess. 4:17). How encouraging! No matter how scary our journey may feel today or how hopeless our future may look, the assurance of His never-failing presence can provide us with the courage and comfort to make it through. And best of all, when this short life is over, we will always be with Him. No wonder Paul encourages us to “comfort one another with these words” (v.18). Confidence in God’s presence is our comfort. The adventure of life is to learn.
The purpose of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change. The challenge of life is to overcome. The essence of life is to care. The opportunity of like is to serve. The secret of life is to dare. The spice of life is to befriend. The beauty of life is to give. The power of prayer (Rom 16:9 Be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil..) Praying must come out of a clean heart. It must be strengthened by a life striving to obey God. Let us not forget that, while life is a condition of prayer , prayer is also the condition of righteous living. The fruit of real praying is right living. It causes a person to watch his temper, conversation and conduct. It leads him/her to walk cautiously and redeem the time . It enables him/her to act worthy of being a Christian. It gives him a high incentive to pursue his/her pilgrimage consistently by shunning every evil way too walk in the light of God . Dear Lord God. I know that if I want my prayers to be real. I must live right. Help me to be excellent about what is good and innocent of Evil Amen
Jesus understands our human frailty because He was tempted in every way we are, yet without sinning see Heb 4:15….How freeing it is to have our High Priest who is both sinless and understanding intercede for us. Seek Jesus diligently He wants to reward you in many ways Heb11:6
Being part of a local church is one of the great joys and responsibilities of every believer. However it involves more than showing up on Sunday! See acts 2:42-47. Consistently avail yourself of opportunities to fellowship, worship, serve and receiving teachings of the Word. We all need one another to be effective in the body of Christ.
Heavenly father I believe in You and know that You have lifted me out of the darkness of hopelessness, futility and fear. I refuse to be afraid. Help me to never walk in the darkness of doubt , disobedience or blaming You for my circumstances . I extend my hand to You, Lord Take hold of it and lead me. As I take each step, may the light You give me be all I need. In Jesus Name I pray Amen Read Isaiah 50:10
Can you imagine trying to earn your way into Gods Favor That would be an impossible task. No amount of good works would ever be enough. Take a moment and reflect on the riches of God’s grace and thank Him for His love and kindness towards you(see Eph 2:4-7) The work of Christ is finished and we can enjoy its results. His Kingdom offers righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit see Rom 14:17 and it is available right now not just when we go to heaven.
