Eind goed, alles goed!
For this vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointment day. HABAKKUK 2 : 3

Sielskos: Eseg. 1-4; Matt 21:1-11; Ps 119:161-168; Spr.19:3-8 Come, let's worship him and bow down. Let's kneel before the LORD who made us. Psa 95:6 Worship. In two thousand years we haven't worked out the kinks. We still struggle for the right words in prayer. We still fumble over Scripture. We don't know when to kneel. We don't know when to stand. We don't know how to pray. Worship is a daunting task. For that reason, God gave us the Psalms—a praise book for God's people… This collection of hymns and petitions are strung together by one thread—a heart hungry for God. Some are defiant. Others are reverent. Some are to be sung. Others are to be prayed. Some are intensely personal. Others are written as if the whole world would use them … The very variety should remind us that worship is personal. No secret formula exists. What moves you may stymie another. Each worships differently. But each should worship. The Inspirational Study Bible (Max Lucado) Sometimes we try to move a giant tree when God only expect us to plant a seed. You do what you can and God will do what you cant. Mat19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said, with men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God.
LORD and my Father in the name of Jesus. I sing for joy to You my strength.
I shout joyfully to the LORD of Host (Ps 81:1). I sing because of the victory through Jesus Christ, for whoever born of Him is an over-comer (1John 5:4) and Overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us (Rom 8:37). He says I am the first and the Last And there’s no God beside Me (Isa 44:6). Neither will there be any Rock beside Me (Isa 44:8). Victoriously He reigns, Our Jehova Nissi (Exo 17:15). Say to those with anxious heart Take courage, fear nor Behold, your God will fight for you and keep you safe (Ps 35:4). He said upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not overpower it (Matt 16:15). Just look to the Rock from which you are hewn And to the quary from which you were dug (Isa 51:1). The corner stone which the builders rejected Became the chief corner stone (Ps 118:22 or Matt 21:42 esp. Act 4:11). Therefore, when you call in trouble, He will rescue you Answer you in the hiding place of thunder (Ps 81:7). He was faithful even to Moses in Exodus 17:6 when He said “Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink”. Build your house therefore on the Rock. For when the rain descends, and the floods come, and the winds blow and the beat against that house, It will not fall, for it would have been built upon the Rock (Matt 7:24-25). Our Impregnable Rock (Isa 33:16) and everlasting Rock. “and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual Rock which followed them, and the Rock was Christ (1 Corinth 10:4). Stay blessed in the good LORD Give God what's right -- not what's left.
Man's way leads to a hopeless end -- God's way leads to an endless hope. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma - but never let him be the period. Don't put a question mark where God puts a period. Are you wrinkled with burden? Come to church for a face-lift. When praying, don't give God instructions – just report for duty. Don't wait for six strong men to take you to church. We don't change God's message -- His message changes us. The church is prayer-conditioned. When God ordains, He sustains. WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning. Plan ahead -- It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark. Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory position. Suffering from truth decay? Brush up on your Bible. Exercise daily -- walk with the Lord. Never give the devil a ride -- he will always want to drive. Nothing else ruins the truth like stretching it. Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back. He who angers you controls you. Worry is the darkroom in which negatives can develop. Give Satan an inch he'll be a ruler. Be ye fishers of men -- you catch them He'll clean them. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. Read the Bible -- It will scare the hell out of you. Joshua 1:9 Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- God is with us - That is the fact. - We must deal ruthlessly with fear and doubt. - We must encourage ourselves to be bold and strong, because HE is with us! PRAYER: Lord, I will be bold and strong in the strength that You give me. Amen. “The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.” – Proverbs 10:9
Integrity is from the Latin Integritas, meaning “soundness, purity,” and also from integer, “whole, complete.” It means steadfast adherence to a moral or ethical code, and also the condition of being sound and complete. When integrity is present, a person’s thoughts, words and actions are all in alignment with each other. Integrity is essential if relationships are to be strong. Both in business and in personal life, integrity is one of the most highly valued character qualities. A word related to integrity is the word “integration,” which means, “to make one.” Its opposite is “disintegration,” which can be thought of as the state of “dis” integrity. In this sate people “go to pieces,” relationships “fall apart,” trust is “broken.” Without integrity, life and relationships are fractured, unsound, and incomplete. People hurt one another, whether they mean to or not. People deceive and are deceived. It’s a devastating way to live. We seek wholeness, completeness, soundness. And we don’t like to be fooled or to misplace our trust. If we’ve been harmed by untrustworthy people, we all the more want relationships of integrity. Life is complicated enough without having to deal with people who are two-faced and duplicitous. When someone says they’ll do something, we want them to simply do what they said they would do. BENEFITS WHEN INTEGRITY GROWS Life gets simpler, and stress decreases Time and effort don’t have to be wasted in hiding motives and covering tracks Less injury is done to others We can be more devoted to positive things rather than to recovering from the negatives of deceit Teamwork and progress improves “Character is what you are in the dark.” – Dwight L. Moody “People may doubt what you say, but they will always believe what you do.” – Anonymous There was a farmer who grew award-winning corn. Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won a blue ribbon. One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors. "How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?" the reporter asked. "Why sir," said the farmer, "didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily egrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn." He is very much aware of the connectedness of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbor's corn also improves. So it is in other dimensions. Those who choose to be at peace must help their neighbors to be at peace. Those who choose to live well must help others to live well, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others to find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all. The lesson for each of us is this: if we are to grow good corn, we must help our neighbors grow good corn. |
