Have you ever needed a second chance?
God went to great lengths to give Jonah a second chance and when Jonah availed himself of the opportunity God gave him, lives were changed for eternity see Jonah 3:1-5 God is still the God of second chances today! Ask Him for it and be faithful to follow through with your part. Faithfully serving God may seem to us unfruitful like the people in Malachi 3:14 suggest . Be encouraged! Know that God sees your faithfulness and remembers .HE is always working in us and through us and it is always for our good and for His purposes see Philippians 2:6
It is not what you know but who you know that is important. Knowing about Jesus is important but it is the act of knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior that is most important. Ask Him to help you know Him more fully and make sure you accept Him as your Savior into your life.
Just as blood continuously clean our bodies from attack from bacteria etc. .God’s blood is continuously cleaning us from sin in all its forms and manifestations 1 John 1:7 .Our part in this process is that we need to freely admit that we have sinned and confess our sins to Him. Remember that God will never reject you.
Genesis 15:5 “Abraham had a definite word from God about His future. He knew what God had promised, but he had no indication about when the promise would be fulfilled. The same is often true for us. While we are waiting for our manifestation to come forth, waiting for a breakthrough, we may grow frustrated or impatient. Sitting in the waiting room of life is not always easy
This process is related to childbirth. First a seed is planted in the mother’s womb, then a time of preparation (nine months) is required, and then the baby is born. During the 9 months, so much happens with the child and the mother Just as so much development happens in the mother and baby during that time of preparation, there is also much activity happening in the spiritual realm, concerning God’s promises for us, and we can’t see this, just as we can’t see cells multiplying in an unborn child. God does some of His best work, when we are not aware of it God is bringing good things to pass for you. Give God time to deliver His promise to you in His own way and time As adults life has an impact on us it makes us hard and in many cases childish. God however wants us to be childlike in our trust and faith. Mark 10: 15 Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kindom of God like a litte child [does] positively shall not enter it at all.
Lord soften our hearts enfold us with your kindness ennrich us with your faith and above all make us your children in Jesus Name Amen Even if I encounter dark afflictions, almighty Father, I will not fear, since You are with me. Always make me remember that You are greater and more powerful than any problem I might face. 1 John 4:4 I praiseYou in the Name Of Jesus Christ Amen Take the promises of Proverbs 3
Proverbs 24:17 - 18 strongly warns us to keep a right heart attetude and not be happy about our enemies afflictions even though we may feel that they deserve them. We should always remember that hurting people hurt people and that their pain may be so strong that they are not even aware that they are hurting us. Do not rejoice in their misfortue love them instead.
Life sometimes throws us a curve ball. Things does not always work out according to plan. But Gods hand will always be there to encourage us or to lift us out of our misiry. Ezra 7:28 b I was streangthened and encouraged, for the Hand of the Lord my God was upon me...
Be encouraged He is always faithful to those who seek Him. To truly live we need to be plugged into Gods plan for our lives. We therefore need to be obedient to the commandments God set out of us in His word. Proverbs 19:16 He who keeps the commandment(of the Lord) keeps his own life, but he who disciples His ways shall die. Luke 10:28;11:28 Choose life (Jesus Christ)
