“He will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness.” (Isaiah 61:3, TLB) Everyone has experienced hurt and disappointment. We’ve all been burnt by life. But God doesn’t want us to sit in the ashes of the past; He wants to trade our brokenness for healing. He wants to give us beauty for our ashes. The key is that we have to be willing to give up the ashes in order to receive the beauty. You can’t have both because the old has to go before the new can come. Today, are you willing to trust Him with your past hurts? Are you willing to let go of the pain, to forgive others and yourself so you can move forward in freedom? Don’t waste another day sitting in the ashes. The past is over, but your future remains. Let God give you joy instead of mourning, and let Him make something beautiful out of the ashes of your life today! God, thank You for promising to sweep away the ashes of my past and give me something beautiful in their place. I choose to give them up to You and receive Your healing and restoration in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen. Zephaniah 3:19 Amplified reads Behold, at that time I will deal with those who afflict you; I will save the limping (ones) and gather the outcasts and will make them a praise and a name in every land of their shame.
God has determined to gather and bless those who are imperfect and that includes all of us. He promised to cast out the enemy, which is in many cases shame, blame or disgrace. God does not want us to limp through life anymore. He wants us to have peace and enjoy our lives. Glory to God! Seek Gods kingdom first. Putting Gods kingdom first is the first step on the pathway of God's miracles and you cannot walk on this pathway unless you determine His will, purpose of your life. His glory is our first priority and we need to pursue it always. To do so, turn first to His Word, which is the atmosphere in which you may understand His will, recognize His ways and hear the voice of the Spirit Psalm 119:18. Secondly watch for the little things, little signs along the way, not the great wind, earthquake of fire but that still voice 1 kings 19:11-13. Often it is the small, seemingly insignificant things or events that ultimately determine your destiny.
Give your life to Jesus, He can do more with it than you can.
Mat 10:39 Whoever finds his (lower) life will lose it (the higher life) and whoever loses his (lower ) life on My account will find it(the higher life). Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior it is worth it. Depend on Jesus and Jesus alone, if you want to experience His success.
Experience God’s grace and unmerited favour in your life .. Perhaps in the “natural” you may be unqualified or inexperienced .. but you must remember that all your disqualifications exist only in the natural realm. And it is not the natural realm that you live or operate in .. Oh No .. you live and operate in the supernatural realm. Your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is with you one-hundred percent. You are a successful person in God’s eyes and as you depend and rely on Him, He will cause everything that your hands touch to prosper. Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. Col 3:13
Unity doesn't begin in examining others but in examining self. Unity begins not in demanding that others change, but in admitting that we aren't so perfect ourselves… The answer to arguments? Acceptance. The first step to unity? Acceptance. Not agreement, acceptance. Not unanimity, acceptance. Not negotiation, arbitration, or elaboration. Those might come later but only after the first step, acceptance. In the Grip of Grace (by: Max Lucado) |
